Speaking about Surigao Del Norte one thing that we came up in our mind is to visit their beautiful and stunning resorts, caves and lakes. It's a pleasure for us to have the chance visiting the places listed below.
Suhoton Cave, Buca’s Grande
Buca Grande is a place that you should not missed during your visit at Surigao Del Norte. Its a place where you can explore the real beauty of paradise with clear water, stunning rock formation and of course swimming in a crystal clear water with a hundreds and thousand endangered Jelly fish.

Lumondo Waterfalls and Eco-Park
We got a tip from a friend who had idea about the place and they told us to consider Lumondo Waterfalls and eco park in our travel destination. It is an opportunity again that we need to consider. Thanks for the tip and this place will be our second destination.
This natural park is located at Brgy. Budlingin just 2 km from the Poblacion.
Magpupungko Rock Formation, Pilar
We love swimming but we have only limited time to check all of the amazing tourist spot in Surigao Del Norte. Before we left to proceed at Del sur, we consider Magpupungko as our last destination at Del Norte. The crystal clear water attracts us to put this place in our list. Its not a open sea beach resort, but its a lagoon and it is surrounded with limestone.Places to Visit at Surigao Del Sur
When i heard about Surigao del sur i always remember how their Enchanted river looks like, how it feels to swim in crystal blue water with only limited space to swim around but a beautiful deep crystal water. Still wondering how this river had that kind of amazing characteristics? This is another reason why we need to explore the place. Surigao del sur owned several tourist destination that are popular in the world of tourist spots, Bislig and Hinatuan is among the top list.
Below are the places that you have to visit at Surigao Del sur.
Hinatuan River or Enchanted River
One of the most popular attraction at Surigao Del Sur, the enchanted river or also known as Hinatuan River. It characterized with crystal blue water and no one knows where the water comes from. Indeed, there are thousand of tourist and local visitors spend their time visiting the place. This place is just 30 minutes from the town of Hinatuan in Barangay Cambatong.
Tinuyuan Falls
Another destination that will fulfill your vacation needs is the Tinutuan falls located at in Bislig. It has a raging water flows from above. There are thousand of tourist visited the place and it became one of the most visited place in Bislig City.
Few tips to remember:
1. Tourist destination listed above are identified by the tourism government. If you want to visit one of them or all of the places listed above, better to have communication with their tourism department for proper guidance and procedure.
2. Get a tour guide when you get there. Tourism department understand that needs of travelers. They can provide you a tour guide in an affordable price.
3. Find place to stay that accessible within in the city. There are affordable hotels and motels in Surigao del sur and Del norte find one where you are comfortable to stay.
- When you get there, habal2x fare ranges to 50 to 100 pesos only.
- The place is located to remote areas, you can bring your own foods or you can buy there.
- When you have your own vehicle, there is a parking lot before the entrance. You can pay 20 pesos to 30 pesos for the whole stay
