1. Food Net - Known for its name that has good quality foods for affordable price. They have 3 branches within Dumaguete area already, they have 10 or more menu's everyday and they never missed giving free soup, cold water and a free hot coffee every morning. The place is clean with friendly and accommodating staff. Their foods are good for everyone and Delicious at its best. With your 50 pesos, you can buy 2 different menus, 2 cup of rice and soup. Its all worth it for a good meal.

2. Puto Chocolate at Tiange - Every morning, people had their breakfast in this place. Not a typical breakfast for everyone but it is a delicious and healthy breakfast. This place is located at the back of super market. Different blocks offering almost the same foods, puto and chocolate. Travelers always includes this place for their itinerary. You can have your break fast for only 30 pesos and you can have the best meal ever.

3.Tocinohan sa Acsat - It was our first day in this place, we are looking for best place for dinner where we can have a bbq or grilled pork. Someone told us to visit the Tocinohan at Acsat, it is a place located in front of the ACSAT School. Its a tocinohan indeed, where you can find 3 different place offers the same foods. They have bbq sticks or they called it Tocino, a hot sauce and Puso. Its a rice covered with coconut leaves. With your 50 pesos, its all worth it for one good meal.

4. Baroroy - It was not so familiar for everyone, they just opened last year. They have affordable foods, clean place and good surroundings. Its a nice place to have your meals, breakfast, lunch or dinner.

5. Boulevard Tempurahan - Not for breakfast or lunch, because they are not open during day time. They open from 5pm onwards until 11 pm maybe. They don't have rice or any menu's to choose, you have fill your stomach with their delicious street foods. They have Tempura, Squid Ball, Squid roll and of course, one of our exotic foods the Balut. Its is located just few meters away from the Port. Every night you can find people there spending their time together with their family and pets. Its a nice place indeed!

2.       Sea Urchin -  A sea creature that looks like a porcupine and it is covered with long and short pines to protect against predator. There are two different sea urchins that is considered as one of the exotic foods in Philippines. One that has long pines with color black features and the other one which has the short pines with colorful body. It is exotic in the sense that, people are eating it alive or they are not cooking it. It tastes good, sweet and sour when it melts inside your mouth. 3.       Tamilok – Not a usually living creature that you can see around, this kind of living organisms can be found in every rotten wood or bakawan or mangroves in Palawan.
